Expert Consultation on Pravo TV Channel

On June 04, 2014 Pravo TV Channel broadcast the issue of Your Lawyer Program dedicated to studying abroad. Yurii Tsvierkun, Director of Apostil i Tochka Legalization Agency, provided a consultation with respect to legalization of the Ukrainian documents of education for studying abroad.

Yurii pointed out the two methods of documents legalization – stamping with an Apostille and consular legalization, he also clarified the differences and requirements to these procedures. Thus, the apostilled documents are valid only in the countries, which have signed the Hague Convention. Consular legalization is a more complicated multi-stage procedure with submission of documents to other public authorities. Also, Yurii informed of the terms and requirements to documents translation and other peculiarities of these procedures.
